'localhost' is a collaboration between visual artists, Justin Corriveau and Sam Rosenthal, who both work with found imagery, specifically sourced from the Internet. Rosenthal collects screenshots from unencrypted Internet-connected cameras, while Corriveau collects sexual/body part photos from the now-defunct "men-seeking-men" section of Craigslist. The artists' individual works are very different aesthetically, yet conceptually similar in that both address their experiences as gay cis-men. In this collaboration, Rosenthal and Corriveau share their trove of images with each other and then produce a series of images, individually. They blend and combine the two sets in different ways, creating a secret virtual cruising ground of gay desire in print. 18+ only!
